Where should we stay?
We kindly ask that all our guests stay at our host resort Dreams Vallarta Bay Resort & Spa. We want our wedding celebration to be a vacation experience for everyone and we'd love to spend some time with you outside the Wedding Day, be that at the pool, or by sharing a few meals and drinks together. We have set aside a block of discounted rooms (minimum 3-night stay) at this resort and we ask that you make your reservation through our travel coordinator MarieSam.

When should we arrive?
If you've traveled all this way, we'd love for you to make a vacation out of it and join us as early as possible. Our room block is available as early as May 24 to 31, 2023. And the Wedding Day is on Friday, May 26th. We recommend that you arrive at least 2 days before the Wedding Day. But please come and stay as long as you'd like.  

What should I wear to the wedding?
Please dress formally for the wedding. Think beachy, but elegant.

Are kids invited to the wedding?
As we know many of you will make a family vacation out of this, you are absolutely invited to bring your children to stay with you at the resort. Dreams has a great Kids Club that provides supervised activities daily. 

What do we do about transportation in Mexico?
Transportation to and from Puerto Vallarta International Airport to Dreams Vallarta Bay is included with our group block rates. 

Do you we have to stay at Dreams Vallarta Bay? Can we stay somewhere else and still attend your wedding?
All guests must stay at our host hotel to attend our wedding celebration. If you are not staying at Dreams Vallarta Bay (or Secrets Vallarta Bay - the adults only sister resort next door), you will be required to pay a day pass to attend our wedding ceremony and reception for the day. 

What is the weather like? What should we pack?
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is typically hot and humid throughout the year -- temperatures are usually in the high 80s to 90s. We recommend bringing light summer clothing and swimsuits. Other helpful essentials include sunblock, insect repellent, water shoes, swim coverups, flip-flops, sunglasses, etc. Think beach vacation with beach elegant attire for the Wedding Day and beach chic attire for dinners on the other nights during your stay.

How do payments work when there are multiple people sharing a room?
When multiple guests are staying in a room together, they will all be listed on the invoice and each person can submit their payment for their share. If the 2nd or 3rd person drops out, then  the room rate would be adjusted for the updated occupancy and the remaining occupant(s) would have to pay for that difference.
